Key Responsibility Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Develop and execute sourcing strategies Identify, evaluate, and onboard global suppliers Lead RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and contract finalization Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and technology advancements Supplier Management & Qualification Establish vendor qualification processes in collaboration with quality and engineering teams. Drive supplier performance metrics (cost, quality, delivery, and technology roadmap alignment). Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to semiconductor industry standards. Technical Collaboration Work closely with process engineers and R&D teams on material specifications, including: Evaluate and qualify new materials and second-source suppliers. Supply Chain & Risk Management Ensure continuity of supply for critical materials and manage supply disruptions. Develop dual-sourcing strategies and buffer plans for high-risk items. Analyse supply-demand dynamics and maintain optimal inventory levels. Collaborate with planning teams to ensure alignment with production schedules. Cost Optimization Drive cost reduction initiatives through negotiation, volume leverage, and process optimization. Conduct should-cost analysis Track cost trends and identify opportunities for savings.
